English

The Subject

English & Literacy are, perhaps, the most important subjects of all. They touch every part of our everyday lives from reading the football scores from the night before and opening the mail, to searching for information on the internet. If we didn’t have strong literacy skills then these everyday tasks might prove impossible. English at Rose Bridge teaches, explores and reinforces the literacy skills learned in primary schools whilst preparing for GCSE English language and literature . We balance the old and the traditional, with the new and technological, so that our students can fully access and appreciate a wide variety of exciting topics.
